The Varlies Trio - Live at The Deer Park Cafe

The Varlies are quite simply one of the best bands I have ever seen live. Their sublime musicianship and infectious melodies underpin their ability to create fantastic music. This band takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions! Expect everything from hi-energy foot stomping tunes, funky grooves and highwire guitar riff's to beautifully crafted acoustic ballads. John Whitehorn is an exceptional vocalist, with an incredible range and tone that reminds me of Neil Finn, with shades of Bon Iver's falsetto at times.

We are pleased to now be taking reservations for our upcoming Live music and Dinner evening here at the Deer Park Café!

Each week on a Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon we shall be showcasing the very best in local live music organised and support by Paul Dunton from Local and Live

Tickets are priced at £20.00 per person, Pre purchased tickets will guarantee you a table and includes your main meal chosen on the evening from our barbecue menu.

Each person on your table will choose their main me and then the table will be presented with the sides below.

Full wine, beer and soft drinks menu will be available on the evening.

-  The Deer Park Steak Burger, Mayfield Cheese, Homemade Burger Sauce

-  Pork and Herb Cumberland Whirl Sausage

-  Flame Grilled Marinated Spatchcock Chicken

-  King Prawn Skewers, Tomato, Chilli and Mango Salsa

-  Miso Glazed Aubergine, Pomegranate and Toasted Seeds (v/vg)

-  Classic Caesar Salad, Sourdough Crouton, Anchovies, Parmesan

If you don’t want to eat you are more than welcome to come along, standing room will be available or your more than welcome to bring a blanket.
